Terms of Service

Welcome to Sivo

These Terms of Service are the rules for using Sivo, including its chats, calls, games and every other feature. By ticking “I agree” and using Sivo, you agree to them, and to the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund Policy they link to. If you do not agree, please do not use Sivo.

Who can use Sivo

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to use online services where you live if that is higher. If you are under 18, make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to use Sivo.

You are responsible for your account. Sivo signs you in with a code sent to your email or with Google, so keep your email account secure, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your Sivo account.

Being a good member

Treat people with respect. When you use Sivo, you must not:

• harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone, or encourage others to;

• post hateful content, or content that attacks people for who they are;

• share sexual content involving anyone under 18, or sexual content with anyone who has not agreed to receive it;

• share someone’s private information, or images of them, without their permission;

• pretend to be someone else, including the owner of Sivo;

• spam, scam or mislead people;

• post anything illegal, or use Sivo to plan or carry out anything illegal;

• share viruses or harmful links, or try to break into, overload, cheat or disrupt Sivo or other people’s accounts.

Your content

The messages, pictures, files, voice notes and other things you share stay yours. So that Sivo can work, you let us store them, copy them as needed and deliver them to the people you send them to.

Only share things you have the right to share. If you believe something on Sivo infringes your copyright, email us with what it is and where it is, and we will look into it and remove it if it does.

Reports and moderation

You can report messages that break these rules. Reported messages are reviewed.

To keep Sivo safe and enforce these Terms, we may remove content, and warn, mute, restrict or ban accounts. Group owners and admins can also moderate their own groups, for example by muting or removing people.

Games, themes and virtual items

Games, scores, themes, badges, Sivo Bucks and any other in-app points or currency are just for fun. They have no real-world value, cannot be sold or swapped for money, and may be changed, reset or removed. Sivo Bucks cannot be bought with real money.

Some themes are exclusive: they are only given out by the owner, and are never for sale.

Sivo Premium

Sivo Premium is an optional upgrade. Everything else in Sivo is free.

If Premium is offered for sale, the price, what it includes and how long it lasts are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by PayPal; Sivo never sees your card or bank details. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to pay.

A Premium subscription can be cancelled at any time, and you keep Premium until the end of the time you have paid for. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.

Premium that is given away — by a code, a gift or the owner — is free, and may be time-limited.

Beta features

Features marked “beta” are still being built. They may not work perfectly, and they may change or disappear.

Sivo is provided as it is

We work hard to keep Sivo running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, or that nothing will ever be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important.

As far as the law allows, Sivo and its owner are not responsible for losses that come from using Sivo, from other people’s behaviour on Sivo, or from not being able to use it. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the law that cannot be taken away.

Ending things

You can stop using Sivo and delete your account at any time from Settings.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, or that put other people or Sivo at risk.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If the changes are important, we will ask you to read and agree to them again in the app.
